看了几个网上词典，居然都没有“二奶”这个风靡大陆南北的词汇。在谷歌翻译输入，出来的是“mistress”;在有道词典上输入，第一个选项是“kept woman”。也有“mistress”和“concubine”。
再来看看我认为比较好的网络英文词典http://www.wordreference.com/对mistress的前两个定义：
1.a woman who has authority, esp. the female head of a household:
The servant did whatever the mistress of the house ordered.
2. a woman who has a continuing sexual relationship with a man not married to her:
He had mistresses in several cities.
同一网络词典对kept woman 的定义是：
kept woman ⇒ censorious a woman maintained by a man as his mistress
这样看来，英文里的mistress意思与汉语的“情人”相当，所含贬义色彩比较淡薄，主要是指婚外男女关系；而kept woman类似汉语里面的“骈妇”或“情妇”，贬义色彩跃然纸上；concubine在《21世纪大英汉词典》中的解释是：1.妾，姨太太，小老婆；2. 姘妇，情妇。
综上所述，“二奶”翻译成kept woman更为合适。
只是可惜，国内的很多词典，都（自我）阉割的太厉害，对这种脍炙人口、风靡全国的词汇不加录入，装逼可鄙至极！！
